In 2017, JSC ‘Gargzdu gelezinkelis’ implemented the rail freight management system ‘Cargo Rail’. Cargo Rail enables the company to manage the freight at the time of its transportation, whilst exchanging information with third party carriers, such as the customs and port cargo management systems. In 2019, the system was upgraded and adapted for freight management during the shunting operations. Following the ever-growing client expectations, the company continues to research and develop the most effective solutions.
